# Transfer .box domain

To seamlessly transfer your domain name for any reason, simply follow these steps:

1. Navigate to **My Domains.**
2. Select the domain you wish to transfer.
3. Click **Transfer Now** — near the bottom of the page, under **Manage Domain.**

4. Complete the **Transfer Domain** form by inputting the recipient's wallet address, confirming it, and then verifying the transfer by inputting the domain name.

### Transfer Alerts

If the recipient of the transferred domain has not registed WHOIS information on my.box, the domain NFT will display an alert. [Why is there an alert on my .box NFT?](/docs/resources/faq/why-is-there-an-alert-on-my-.box-nft.md) are used for guiding the user to resolving compliance issues.
