Set Avatar

This guide explains what your avatar is and walks you through the three available options for setting it on your .box domain.

What does setting your Avatar do?

1. It sets your ENS Avatar record. Combine this with Set Primary ENS Name, and your .box avatar becomes your profile picture across web3.

2. It changes the background art on your .box domain NFT.

3. It sets your profile picture on my​.box.

How to Set Avatar

You have three options for setting your avatar:

Choose from NFTs

1. Navigate to My Domains and select the domain you want to configure.

2. Under the Overview tab, click on the domain image.

3. Select Choose from your NFTs. This will load your ETH Mainnet NFT collection.

4. Choose an NFT, click Done, and complete the transaction.

5. Refresh the page to see the updated avatar.a

Upload from Device

1. Navigate to My Domains and select the domain you want to configure.

2. Under the Overview tab, click on the domain image.

3. Select Upload from Device and choose an image file from your local device.

4. Click Done and complete the transaction.

5. Refresh the page to see the updated avatar.

Add from URL

1. Navigate to My Domains and select the domain you want to configure.

2. Under the Overview tab, click on the domain image.

3. Select Add from URL and paste the direct link to your image.

   1. Note: The URL must end with .png, .jpg, .gif, or .glb.

4. Click Done and complete the transaction.

5. Refresh the page to see the updated avatar.

Note: It may take a few minutes for the image to update on your ENS profile, domain NFT, and your my.box profile picture.
