Your account settings hold the email address my.box uses to reach you and your preference for hearing from Box. You find them under My Account, on the Settings tab. You need a connected wallet to change them.

The Email Address section shows the email on your account. To change it, choose Change Email, enter the new address twice to confirm it, and choose Send Verification Email.

my.box then sends a six-digit code to the new address. Enter that code to confirm the change. Until you do, the change stays pending, and you can cancel it or ask for a new code. Verifying the new address is what actually switches your account over to it, which keeps someone from setting an email they do not control.

If something is off, my.box tells you: for example, an address that is not valid, two entries that do not match, or an address already linked to another account.

The Communication Preferences section lets you opt in to occasional product updates from Box with a single checkbox. Your choice saves as soon as you change it. Leaving it unchecked means you only get the essential emails about your names and payments.
