Set your ENS profile
Your ENS profile is the public identity attached to your .box name, visible across Web3 apps and wallets. You manage it from the Identity tab on your name's detail page. This article is the overview: what the profile holds and how saving works. Each section has its own detailed article.
What your profile holds
The Identity tab groups your profile into a few sections:
Profile: your avatar, a short bio, and details like a link and keywords. See Set your avatar.
Addresses: wallet addresses on different blockchains, so people can send you crypto at your name. See Add wallet addresses.
Social: links to your social accounts. See Add social links.
Reverse resolution: whether apps show your
.boxname in place of your wallet address. See Set reverse resolution.
Edit and save
Editing covers the whole profile at once, not one card at a time. Choose Edit Profile in the tab header to put the Profile, Addresses, and Social sections into edit mode together. Make your changes, then choose Save Changes, or Cancel to discard them.
Saving writes your profile to ENS on-chain. You approve the change in your wallet with a signature, and you pay the network fee (gas) for the transaction. my.box bundles everything you changed into a single transaction, so one confirmation covers all of your edits. When it succeeds you see a confirmation that your profile was updated. If you did not actually change anything, saving closes without a transaction.
Choosing Cancel discards your edits and returns to view mode without writing anything.
Reverse resolution is managed separately from this edit flow, with its own controls on its card.
