Cookie and privacy consent

The first time you visit my.box, a banner asks about cookies. This article explains what it controls and how to change your mind.

What the banner asks

The banner explains that my.box uses cookies for analytics, to understand how people use the site, with no ads and no profiling. It links to the Privacy Policy and gives you two choices:

  • Accept turns on analytics.

  • Reject keeps analytics off.

What your choice controls

Your choice only affects analytics: whether my.box measures how the site is used. It never enables advertising, ad targeting, or profiling. Those stay off regardless of what you choose, which is why the banner says "no ads, no profiling."

How long your choice lasts

my.box remembers your choice for about a year, so the banner does not ask again each visit. It reappears when that period passes, or if you clear the cookie that stores your choice.

Changing your choice later

There is no separate cookies-settings screen in my.box. To change your earlier choice, clear your my.box cookies in your browser. The banner then reappears on your next visit, and you can choose again.
