Apply a promo code
If you have a promo code, you apply it at checkout. It works the same whether you pay by card or with crypto.
Enter your code
In the order summary on the payment page, open Have a promo code?, type your code into the field (Add a promo code here), and choose Apply. While my.box checks the code the button reads Checking….
When a code is accepted, it appears as a small badge in the order summary with a discount line showing the amount off, and your total updates. To remove it, choose the badge's remove control; the total returns to full price.
If a code cannot be applied, you will see one of these messages:
Enter a valid promo code when the code is empty or not recognized.
You've already used this promo code when you have redeemed that code before.
What a promo code does
A promo code takes a fixed amount off the price of a single name in your order. It does not discount the whole cart, and it is not a percentage. If your order has more than one name, the discount applies to one of them.
Each code can be used once per account. A code you have already redeemed will not apply again.
Paying by card when a code covers the full price
If a promo code covers the entire price of your name on the card path, my.box shows a note titled Minimum charge of $0.50, explaining that the payment processor requires a minimum charge of $0.50 on card transactions. You are charged that minimum. Paying with crypto has no such minimum.
