# Why is there an alert on my .box NFT?

If you have not read the article on WHOIS Information I suggest you start there.

.box Domains uses the NFT image as a means to communicate information to the user of that NFT. Currently the only user facing alert is the one for WHOIS info, however more may be implemented.

### Token Does Not Exist (DNE)

If our NFT Image api service gets a request for a token which does not exist we return the basic NFT image template with a message saying the token information is not available.
